As pyramid and wedge shaped acoustic foams have a thicker body, the noise absorption will be higher compared to eggshell shaped acoustic foams. Some sellers claim that black acoustic foams are of better quality in regards to noise absorption. However, in fact, there is no direct relation between the noise absorption and colour. More importantly, it is the density which determines the level of noise absorption. Where our acoustic foams feature a high density of 25kg/m3, you can be assured this is where you will find heavier and thicker acoustic foams.
